February 1, 1959 - September 20, 2001



When I moved here from Bronxville in 1971, I was entering the 7th grade. I knew nobody and, believe it or not, was a bit shy back then.
On my first day at WHB Jr. High, I was wandering around looking for a class (clearly lost) and this booming voice said "Hey, new kid....you need some help?" Well, it was none other than Jackie.
She was larger than life, even then and I knew right away that I had found my first friend. Though we didn't remain best buddies (we went our separate ways as folks do in high school), I was always happy to see her and we always found time to chat and get caught up.

I was shocked and saddened by her early death and know that she is resting peacefully in heaven.
